Hubert De Givenchy was born on 20 February, 1927 to a wealthy family in Beauvais, France. He founded his company House of Givenchy in 1952. The classic Givenchy style was represented by two famous women of their time; Audrey Hepburn and Jacqueline Kennedy. Givenchy wanted to be a fashion designer when he was very young.
